RSVP 2009

 

Well what a busy week last week was with 2 days at the annual RSVP event in Jeff’s Shed.  This is the 3rd year that Blackjack Knights have been exhibiting at RSVP Melbourne,  which is Victoria's largest event dedicated to the Corporate Party and Special Events Industry suppliers.

We set up our Blackjack table at the stand (see pictures) and had over 200 people visit the stand over the 2 days. Trade shows are lots of fun as you get to meet many people but can be extremely hard work as you are on your feet for 2 days solid.  We also attended the RSVP after party on the Wednesday night at the Trust Bar in Melbourne CBD which is an old favorite of ours as we have done many events over the years. One of our competitors supplied a “roulette table” I use the term loosely as it was a trestle table with skirting around it to hide this fact. The roulette ball was a marble and the chips were poker chips that you can pick up for about $50 at most retail outlets. Which just goes to prove that whilst there are now several other companies doing a similar thing and imitating our events, they don’t quite have the personnel or equipment to do what we do so well.

Our casino themed parties are still as popular as when we started the business over 6 years ago.
