Case Study for Corporate Christmas Party

CHALLENGE: To create a unique and unforgettable Corporate Christmas party experience for approximately 150 employees of an IT company in Melbourne. The entertainment brief was that the christmas party must suit a range of ages, both male and female. It also needs to be interactive and an engaging experience for all guests.

BACKGROUND: Netspace Online Systems were planning the annual Christmas party function for their staff. Rather than organise the same old boring dinner or drinks, they wanted to arrange something that would really say ‘thank-you’. They wanted to show their employees how important they were to the business and just how much their contribution throughout the year was valued. But what could they do that would guarantee a fantastic time for all? This was especially difficult as there was a mix of men and women and ages. Finding entertainment that was fresh, exciting and appealed to everyone became a real challenge.

SOLUTION: Netspace Online Systems contacted Blackjack Knights months in advance (always a good idea for Christmas parties!) wanting party ideas. Not only did they want information on fun casino nights, but they wanted to know how they could achieve a fully themed solution for the night. Blackjack Knights was able to provide assistance on everything they needed for a successful casino night. We were even able to give some recommendations on appropriate venues. In the end Blackjack Knights provided a complete Las Vegas themed cocktail style event for 150 people with all the trimmings – Elvis impersonator, showgirls, DJ, casino royale sign, red carpet, velvet ropes & gold bollards. There was even a ‘chapel’ with fake weddings! As for the casino part of the evening, Blackjack Knights provided a full service package of casino tables featuring our most popular games of roulette, blackjack and poker as well as a casino manager to run the event. As well as the casino tables, 3 hours of tournament style play and black-tie professional croupiers at each table, Blackjack Knights also included all the set up and break down costs. This package was tailored to ensure their corporate christmas party would be suit for their exact needs, Basically, it contained everything needed to ensure maximum entertainment for minimum fuss. Blackjack Knights even provided customised fun money and a casino winner’s trophy inscribed with “Netspace High Roller Award for 2009”. What better way to encourage interaction and some friendly rivalry amongst the guests than with a coveted trophy up for grabs?!

RESULT: The staff at Netspace Online Systems were raving about the christmas party entertainment and the way in which it was all organised and managed throughout the evening. Ensuring that all of the guests were kept engaged and entertained was a big priority, and this was achieved with the casino tables.
